Is Castro Teasing A New Venue?
Dave Castro dropped a new mystery site on his Instagram story with a @crossfitgames tag and a puzzled emoji, showing water tucked into the hills in a way that does not match the usual view from the CrossFit Ranch. That has fans convinced this is an entirely different location tied to the venue changes he has been hinting at.
The guessing game started immediately, with people wondering if this is Anderson Lake, Coyote Lake, both located near Morgan Hill, CA or some other hidden spot that has not been announced yet. Until CrossFit confirms anything, the only thing that seems clear is that Castro is still having fun dropping clues while everyone tries to figure out exactly where the next big test will take place.

Castro Hints At Unannounced Venue Change
In a new interview with Alexis Raptis, Dave Castro revealed there will be a slight venue change for the CrossFit Games that has not been announced yet, instantly giving fans a new detail to obsess over. He also said athletes will get passes for friends and family to attend off site events, which opened the door for Alexis to ask the follow up everyone was thinking.
When Alexis asked if that meant people would be able to go to the ranch and the pool, Castro quickly replied, “I didn’t say that,” which sounded like a pretty clear signal that ranch events may still be off limits. If that ends up being the case, fans will immediately start pointing to permitting issues as the likely reason.

James Sprague Says "The Squad Is Back Together"
James Sprague stirred up more camp shuffle talk by sharing a story with coach Dom D'Agostino tagged and the caption “squad is back together,” making it look like Dom is back in the Brute orbit after his run with the Mayhem empire.
Dom has been tied to Mayhem since 2023 when he left Brute, but this new story lands not long after Haley Adams also left Mayhem and returned to Brute, a move that was announced at Syndicate Crown. Add in the fact that Dom appeared on the Brute podcast back in April, and it now looks like this reunion may have been building behind the scenes for a while.
